DESCRIPTION:Drop in to view art; music ongoing \n\n\n\nExperience immersive music all day with rolling rotations for solo cello with Baltimore Symphony Solo music provided by BSO cellist Lukasz Szyrner and conservatory students Katrina Wolfe and Ryan Schick\, as well as sitar sets with John Protopapas\, “troubadour” songs with singer/songwriter John Terlazzo\, and American folk music with David and Dianne Creagh (2-3 pm) in the gallery where paintings by Stephen March “As I See It – A Retrospective” (November 24th 2023 – January 20th\, 2024) are being showcased this month. Take in the exhibit and the ambient sounds provided through music. \n\n\n\nThe inspiration and motivation for Stephen March’s personal artistic expression comes from the issues and events of everyday life\, present and past\, public and private. Stephen makes art that is a vehicle for emotional and intellectual contemplation as well as a metaphor for the fragility of the human condition.

DESCRIPTION:Come play with us DOWNTOWN on January 6th\, 2024!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFESTIVAL WEATHER UPDATE as of Friday Morning:Due to the impending snow for Saturday\, January 6th\, the Miller Music Festival will be scaling back.  \n\n\n\n\nDoors will open at 8 am at Trinity UCC\, Heidelberg\, and St John’s for early auditions and limited setup \n\n\n\nNO OUTDOOR VENUES will be set up\n\n\n\nSCHEDULED AUDITIONS (all three churches) and THEORY TESTS (St John) will go on until noon\n\n\n\nSCHEDULED EVENTS will open at 10 am and go on  as planned\, but only until noon\n\n\n\nThe Matinee “TRADITIONS” recital will (still) be held at 1 pm at St John’s but will now also include the Miller Scholarship Competition student performances\n\n\n\nAll events after the 1 pm recital/competition are CANCELED\, including the 2:30 pm NEXT GEN recital and the 4 pm “Finale at 4”\n\n\n\nActivity stations will be closing by 12:30 pm.\n\n\n\n\nAll activities will take place from 10am-12:30pm.
