DESCRIPTION:It’s time for our elementary and early intermediate students to MAKE MUSIC – and to enjoy a really great midwinter music “carnival\,” too!  \n\n\n\nCome to York College’s Wolf Hall to kick off your President’s Day weekend by scheduling a closed-door adjudication and level-specific theory test\, then stay to enjoy drop-in\, hands-on music events designed for the whole family. Flute Factory\, Chime-o-Rama\, Keyboard Corral\, Blues Experience\, Petting Zoo of Instruments… there’s something for EVERYONE at the Midwinter MAKE MUSIC Festival! \n\n\n\n(High School students: service hour credit available for volunteering to assist with the Miller Midwinter MAKE MUSIC Festival – ask your teacher how you can help!)

DESCRIPTION:Let’s take the music out to our senior friends living in retirement communities! \n\n\n\nThese casual Saturday afternoon performances are open to all ages and levels. It’s the PERFECT way to invite more reluctant students “on stage” (or to encourage any student to perform a piece more than once)… because it’s NOT a formal recital!  \n\n\n\nHeld in common areas at The Residence at Fitz Farm\, 2200 Springwood Road (1 PM) and Spiritrust Lutheran Kelly\, 750 Kelly Drive (2:30 PM)\, these “parlor” events invite everyone to relax and play (or sing!) in a warm\, encouraging environment. \n\n\n\n Sign up for one or “do the tour” – play in both! THIS is why we MAKE MUSIC! \n\n\n\n(Students: service hour credit is available for these performances.)
