YMTA Miller MAKE MUSIC Fall Festival
Calling all students at the early intermediate and above level: this is YOUR festival opportunity! Take a solo adjudication to receive professional feedback from our judges on your progress, check your knowledge by taking a level-appropriate PMTA theory test, AND have fun by participating in optional chamber music clinics and classes… all during two exciting days! Ask your teacher how to participate and watch for information on how to register, coming soon!

Let’s take the music out to our senior friends living in retirement communities!
These casual Saturday afternoon performances are open to all ages and levels. It’s the PERFECT way to invite more reluctant students “on stage” (or to encourage any student to perform a piece more than once)… because it’s NOT a formal recital!
Held in common areas at The Residence at Fitz Farm, 2200 Springwood Road (1 PM) and Spiritrust Lutheran Kelly, 750 Kelly Drive (2:30 PM), these “parlor” events invite everyone to relax and play (or sing!) in a warm, encouraging environment.
Sign up for one or “do the tour” – play in both! THIS is why we MAKE MUSIC!
(Students: service hour credit is available for these performances.)

YCPrep/YMTA Honors Recital
This is the first “formal” recital of the year in York College’s beautiful DeMeester (Wolf) Recital Hall! Featuring performances by YMTA/YCPrep students, this event will showcase and reward advancing students who have achieved an Honors ranking in the 2026 Miller Fall Festival.
YMTA 🎃”Costumes & Candy” Recital
Join YMTA teachers and students for our annual (Trick or) Treat Recital! Students and teachers are invited to come in family-friendly, fun costumes and share their spookiest musical selections as we explore the power of storytelling in music together. All ages and levels are welcome! Treats will be shared after the recital—no tricks!

Matinee Music Club Recital
Attention, students grades 7 and above (and teachers who perform): YMTA’s sister organization, the Matinee Music Club of York, will host a recital open to student and adult performing members of the Matinee Music Club. Share the JOY of the Season Through Music!
Every year, Zion Lutheran “On the Hill” (formerly Zion Lutheran Brandywine) opens its beautiful sanctuary to the community for this special celebration of music, fellowship, and holiday cheer.
Bring your favorite seasonal music to share with friends, family, and fellow musicians, and help us fill the sanctuary with the joy of the season. Bring a friend, and stay afterward for cookies and fellowship!
