Rooted in York’s rich musical tradition, YMTA serves as a vibrant network of music educators dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians while strengthening the musical life of our community.

As a local affiliate of the Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association, YMTA connects local music educators with a broader professional community while fostering collaboration, inspiration, and continued growth. Through these connections, we seek to enrich music education and create meaningful opportunities for students to develop not only as musicians, but as confident and engaged members of their community.
